ASIA Records is proud to officially recognise SATEERA for achieving a significant continental milestone in natural health science: First and Most Patented Natural Anti-Infective Formulation Preserving Beneficial Bacteria (Holding 14 Patents Across 14 Countries).
This recognition affirms SATEERA’s leadership in selective anti-infective biotechnology — demonstrating that effective pathogen control can coexist with the preservation of beneficial microbiota, setting a new benchmark for responsible, science-driven innovation across Asia.
Redefining Anti-Infective Science Through Selective Microbial Modulation
SATEERA was developed to challenge conventional anti-infective approaches that often disrupt the body’s natural microbial ecosystem. Structured around targeted microbial modulation, its patented formulation selectively suppresses harmful pathogens while preserving beneficial bacteria — representing a paradigm shift from indiscriminate broad-spectrum antimicrobial strategies.

Protected by 14 patents across 14 countries, SATEERA stands as the most patented natural anti-infective formulation of its kind in the region. The innovation reflects years of structured research, biotechnology refinement, and intellectual property development.
The technology has progressed beyond laboratory validation into practical applications, reinforcing Malaysia’s growing capability to translate academic research into commercially viable biotechnology solutions.
A Milestone Moment of Acknowledgement
The ASIA Records certificate was officially presented on 18 December 2025 at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, during the ASIA Records 1st Gather of Achievers, marking the formal recognition of SATEERA’s record achievement.

The milestone was subsequently represented on 2 March 2026 at Connexion Conference & Event Centre (Nexus), providing an additional platform to commemorate the achievement and highlight SATEERA’s continued growth in the biotechnology sector.
The recognition was received on stage by Datuk Wira Jment Lim, Co-Founder of REDFORES, and Prof. Dr. rer. Nat. Hesham Ali El Enshasy, Chief Scientific Advisor of SATEERA, witnessed by Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Chang Lih Kang.

In his keynote address, Datuk Chang emphasised that innovation must move beyond laboratory research into real-world application. He noted that science-based, targeted biotechnology solutions such as SATEERA’s selective anti-infective technology demonstrate Malaysia’s growing strength in translating research into impactful, commercially applied innovation — strengthening national biotechnology capabilities in alignment with the National Biotechnology Policy.
Voices of Leadership
Reflecting on the recognition, Datuk Calvin Khiu, Co-Founder of SATEERA, shared:

“For decades, hygiene has often been equated with ‘killing everything.’ This milestone highlights the need to rethink that conventional approach. SATEERA was developed not to be stronger, but to be smarter. It selectively suppresses harmful pathogens while preserving beneficial bacteria. That shift in thinking represents what we believe is the next evolution in hygiene innovation.”
