ASIA Records is proud to officially recognise Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) for achieving the milestone:
Largest Airline Trade Pavilion at a Consumer Travel Fair (46,000 sq ft total built-up space, 3-floor structure, MATTA Fair, 3–5 April 2026, MITEC Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)
This recognition highlights a landmark achievement in experiential aviation marketing, demonstrating how large-scale, immersive environments can redefine engagement between airline brands and travellers across Asia.

Introducing the MAG Arena — A New Benchmark in Aviation Showcases
At the centre of this achievement is the MAG Arena, a bold, multi-level aviation pavilion unveiled during MATTA Fair 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur.
Spanning 46,000 square feet across three floors, the MAG Arena brought together Malaysia Aviation Group’s airline portfolio — Malaysia Airlines, Firefly, and Amal — within a single integrated showcase.

Designed beyond the concept of a conventional exhibition booth, the pavilion delivered a fully immersive travel experience, combining exclusive travel promotions, real-time booking opportunities, cabin showcases, interactive digital tools, virtual reality experiences, and curated engagement zones.
Notably, the MAG Arena represents a significant scale-up from Malaysia Aviation Group’s previous MATTA Fair participation, reflecting a more ambitious and integrated approach to experiential aviation showcases. This large-scale, multi-dimensional environment sets a new benchmark for airline participation at consumer travel fairs across the region.
Creating Immersive and Interactive Visitor Journeys

Designed as an experiential environment rather than a static display, the pavilion enabled visitors to explore aviation in a dynamic and engaging way.
Visitors experienced immersive travel simulations, interactive installations that bridged physical and digital touchpoints, and destination storytelling through themed environments. The integration of technology, content, and spatial design transformed the way travellers interacted with airline brands.
A key highlight of the pavilion was a special meet-and-greet session with Manchester United legends Gary Neville, Andy Cole, and Wes Brown, drawing strong visitor engagement and reinforcing MAG’s global brand partnerships.
In conjunction with the event, Malaysia Aviation Group also announced new international routes to Shenzhen and Changsha in China, as well as Fukuoka in Japan, further strengthening its regional connectivity and expanding its global network.

Strengthening Malaysia’s Position as a Regional Aviation Hub
This initiative reflects Malaysia Aviation Group’s broader vision to position Malaysia as a key gateway for regional and international travel.
By elevating its presence at one of the country’s largest travel fairs, MAG successfully showcased its airline ecosystem through an integrated platform that connects travellers with destinations, services, and experiences.
The scale and impact of the MAG Arena demonstrate how innovation, storytelling, and experiential engagement can contribute to strengthening Malaysia’s tourism visibility while reinforcing its role as a regional aviation hub.
