ASIA Records is proud to officially recognise Good Taste Restaurant for achieving a significant continental milestone as the:
First Three-Generation Wanton Noodle Kopitiam Chain Operating in Two Countries, with the Most-Sold Handmade Dry Wanton Noodle in Dark Sauce
(1,722,575 plates sold across 30 outlets in 2025; 30 outlets across Malaysia and Indonesia as of June 2026; family recipe in continuous use since 1970).
This achievement highlights Good Taste Restaurant’s ability to preserve a family recipe while scaling a heritage kopitiam concept across markets in Asia.
Carrying a Culinary Legacy Since 1970

Good Taste Restaurant’s story began in 1970, when Mr. Lee Jin served wanton noodles as a street vendor using a family recipe inherited from his grandfather.
What began as a humble local favourite has evolved into a modern kopitiam chain, while the core recipe remains central to the brand’s identity.
This three-generation continuity reflects the strength of family heritage, craftsmanship, and long-term dedication to preserving traditional flavours.
Expanding a Heritage Kopitiam Brand Across Asia
Good Taste Restaurant recorded 1,722,575 plates of handmade dry wanton noodle in dark sauce sold in 2025, supported by 30 outlets across Malaysia and Indonesia as of June 2026.

By combining tradition with modern operations, Good Taste Restaurant has set a new benchmark for heritage food brands across Asia.
