Bringing Humanoid Robotics into a Live Automotive Experience
The milestone was achieved during a sports car gathering at SkyPark Regional Aviation Centre (SRAC), where 260 vehicles assembled on an airfield runway for a coordinated engine-start moment.
The UNITREE G1 Humanoid Robot Team was incorporated into the activation to signal the simultaneous engine start, creating a striking intersection between robotics, automotive culture, and live event production.
Rather than operating within a laboratory or controlled demonstration environment, the humanoid robots became part of a real-world public event involving a large number of vehicles and participants.
Where Robotics Meets Automotive Culture
The collaboration between UNITREE 宇树, D’Concept Supercar Club, and DC Robotics Sdn Bhd demonstrates how humanoid robots can be integrated into large-scale lifestyle and experiential events beyond conventional technology showcases.
By positioning the G1 robots at the centre of a coordinated sports car activation, the event created a new form of interaction between emerging robotics and high-performance automotive culture.
The achievement reflects the expanding possibilities for humanoid robots to participate in entertainment, events, brand experiences, and public demonstrations across Asia.
A Milestone Moment of Recognition
The ASIA Records certificate was officially presented on 12 September 2026 at SkyPark Regional Aviation Centre (SRAC), Selangor, Malaysia, marking the formal recognition of this robotics and automotive milestone.
The recognition was received on stage by Lim Jie Yi, widely known as D Concept 杰哥, Founder of D’Concept Supercar Club, together with the UNITREE team, representing the collaboration behind the record-setting activation involving the UNITREE G1 Humanoid Robot Team.
