This recognition celebrates Farm Price Holdings Berhad’s leadership in advancing integrated fresh produce supply chain solutions by combining public-market governance, self-operated cold-chain infrastructure, and halal-certified value-added processing, setting a new benchmark for the agricultural and food distribution industry across Asia.
Building an Integrated Fresh Produce Supply Chain
Established in 2004, Farm Price Holdings Berhad has evolved from a fresh vegetable trading company into an integrated agricultural supply chain provider serving wholesalers, retailers, food service operators, and export markets.
A major milestone was achieved in May 2024 when the company became Malaysia’s first publicly listed fresh vegetable importer and exporter integrating self-operated cold-chain storage with halal-certified value-added processing following its listing on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia.
Today, Farm Price sources fresh vegetables from both domestic growers and international suppliers before distributing them across Malaysia and overseas markets. Approximately 40% of the company’s annual turnover is generated through exports to Singapore, demonstrating its established regional market presence.
Investing in Cold-Chain Excellence and Quality Assurance
A defining strength of Farm Price lies in its investment in integrated cold-chain infrastructure designed to preserve freshness, maintain food quality, and minimise post-harvest losses throughout the supply chain.
Upon completion, the company’s new integrated facility will comprise approximately 149,548 square feet of built-up area, including 66,845 square feet of refrigerated storage facilities, with an annual handling capacity of approximately 29,669 pallets.
Complementing its logistics capabilities, Farm Price also operates halal-certified value-added processing services involving vegetable cleaning, sorting, cutting, and packaging. These operations are supported by internationally recognised ISO 9001:2015, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certifications, reinforcing the company’s commitment to food safety, operational excellence, and quality assurance.
From Public Listing to Continued Regional Growth
Farm Price’s public listing has played an important role in the development of its integrated fresh produce business. Following its listing on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia in May 2024, the company reached another corporate milestone with its transfer to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia on 9 September 2026.
The transfer marks a new chapter in Farm Price’s development as a publicly listed company while building on its capabilities in fresh vegetable import and export, self-operated cold-chain storage, halal-certified value-added processing, and regional distribution.
Together, these capabilities demonstrate the integrated business model recognised by ASIA Records and reflect Farm Price’s continued efforts to strengthen fresh produce supply chain efficiency, quality, and reliability across regional markets.
A Milestone Moment of Recognition
The ASIA Records certificate was first officially presented on 28 June 2026, recognising Farm Price Holdings Berhad’s achievement in developing an integrated fresh vegetable supply chain combining import and export operations, self-operated cold-chain storage, and halal-certified value-added processing.
In conjunction with another significant chapter in the company’s corporate journey, the ASIA Records certificate was presented again on 9 September 2026 at Bursa Malaysia, coinciding with Farm Price Holdings Berhad’s transfer from the ACE Market to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia.
The recognition was received by Dr. Lawrence Tiong Lee Chian, Managing Director of Farm Price Holdings Berhad, and Shirley Liew Tsuey Er, Executive Director of Farm Price Holdings Berhad.
