Samurai 2K Aerosol Recognised by ASIA Records for Achieving the Highest Number of Full-Body Car Resprays Using Aerosol Paint in a Single Event

ASIA Records is proud to officially recognise Samurai 2K Aerosol for achieving a significant continental milestone as the: Highest Number of Full-Body Car Resprays Using Aerosol Paint in a Single Event (30 Cars, Minimum 2 Participants per Car, 100% Aerosol Application, Completed Within 72 Hours).

This exceptional achievement features extraordinary craftsmanship, speed, and coordination—demonstrating the scalability of aerosol-based automotive respraying at a level rarely seen in the industry. Made even more meaningful by the passionate participation of Samurai fans and spray enthusiasts nationwide, the milestone reflects a powerful blend of technology, community, and execution excellence.

Elevating Aerosol Technology to Continental Relevance

Held at SIREH Park, Johor Bahru, the record-setting event proved that aerosol technology—traditionally perceived as limited to minor repairs—can be applied systematically to full-body resprays across multiple vehicles within a compressed timeframe.

The successful completion of all 30 cars underscored the practicality of structured, aerosol-based workflows, supported by Samurai’s proprietary 2K aerosol formulation, internal two-component mixing mechanism, and precision application systems. Together, these innovations enabled body-shop-level durability and finish consistency without reliance on compressor-driven spray equipment.

A Milestone Moment of Acknowledgement

The ASIA Records certificate was officially presented on 8 February 2026 at SIREH Park, Johor Bahru.

The recognition was received on stage (left to right) by Assistant Group Manager Jack Lim, Assistant Manager, Samurai Service and Academy, Nurul Fateha Zainal, Service Development Senior Executive Ahmad Faiz Roslani, Chief Operation Officer Kelly Lim, and Chief Executive Officer Ian Ong Yoke En, representing Samurai Paint’s leadership team and their role in advancing aerosol-based automotive finishing to a continental benchmark.

Voices of Leadership

Reflecting on the achievement, Jack Lim, Assistant Group Manager of Samurai Paint, shared:

“This achievement marks a significant milestone for aerosol-based automotive finishing—an area traditionally dominated by compressor-driven spray systems in professional workshops. The record validates years of research and development aimed at redefining conventional automotive painting methods. More importantly, it demonstrates that aerosol technology can deliver durable, professional-grade full-body finishes at scale, while remaining accessible to automotive enthusiasts.”

Setting a New Benchmark for Asia’s Automotive Aerosol Landscape

Beyond the technical feat, the event highlighted Samurai Paint’s strong community-driven philosophy—placing skill development, accessibility, and shared passion at the heart of innovation. By empowering enthusiasts rather than limiting participation to professionals, Samurai demonstrated how advanced technology can democratise automotive craftsmanship.

With this ASIA Records recognition, Samurai 2K Aerosol establishes itself as a continental benchmark for aerosol-based automotive finishing, laying the foundation for future regional programmes and continued advancement in accessible, high-performance automotive solutions across Asia.
